The “Upper Deck” of the Bridge Tavern is available for private hire for any occasion– whether it’s an informal meeting with colleagues or a special event.

The Bridge Tavern is a popular venue for many occasions such as weddings, birthdays, retirement parties or Christmas parties as we are located in historic Old Portsmouth directly on the Camber Dock Quay. The “Upper Deck” is fantastic for your guests. They can see great views overlooking the quay, fishing & tugboats below.

The “Upper Deck” can accommodate:

10-20 guests in our “Camber Dock” room.
Either 20 guests sat at one long table or several smaller tables in one room.

21-50 guests in the entire “Upper Deck.”
We can comfortably fit 50 guests for a sit down meal.

50+ guests may still be a possibility.
If catering for a buffet, depending on the function details, we may be able to accommodate up to 70 guests.

Catering:

We have several options of food menus to choose from such as our main menu, lunch menu, buffet menus or we can create an individually selected menu.

Our main menu has a large selection of seafood and other traditional English dishes to choose from. Our Chefs are happy to assist you in selecting a sit down menu or discuss any other requirements you may have.

Drinks:

We have a vast selection of drinks.
Fuller’s Real Cask Ales
Five draught lagers including Peroni
Wine list with several wines by the glass

For special occasions we can set up an Arrivals Drinks Table for your guests in the “Upper Deck”.


Price:
Prices for menus vary according to the menu selected.
To hire the “Upper Deck” for private use the fee is £30.
For special events we can also provide white linen tablecloths and napkins.
