This wonderful little pub is held in very high regard locally & features in all the major pub & beer guides as well as on numerous websites. It has been passionately run by Chris & Helen for the last ten years and is more than worth a visit.
Chris hosts a challenging but fun pub quiz every Tuesday night from 9pm which can be a very busy night but is definitely worth squeezing in for. There are three open fires in the winter & a heated patio in the summer. The function rooms are gorgeous & can be booked for meetings, parties, book launches, dinner parties & pretty much anything else. There is a large plasma screen in one of the upstairs rooms which shows occational big sporting events (free-view, no sky). The plasma T.V can also be used for business presentations or to show films etc.
This really is a very special, classic London pub that doesn't try to be anything other than just how it should be!
