Food at Jamies is unfussy and mainly British, combining simple ingredients with a combination of modern and traditional cooking methods, to deliver brilliantly created menus, with something for everyone.
All our ingredients are chosen for their known provenance and methods of production and wherever possible we source directly from local suppliers, ensuring that all of our dishes are fresh and inspiring.
Famous for our smoked and cured meats and rotisserie inspired menu items, as well a great selection of starters, sandwiches, main courses, sharing boards and desserts, Jamies offers the very best in casual dining.
Separate lunchtime and evening menus have their own focus and don’t forget we are now open for breakfast, offering a choice of hot and cold options from our hearty full English, to oak smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, eggs benedict and poached seasonal fruits, to name but a few.
Tim is committed offering a varied menu with an emphasis on using seasonal produce. His daily changing lunch menu has a focus on British dishes with an Italian influence.
This fantastic interior complements the exciting menu that kicks off with such an appealing tapas selection that many don´t make it past the delicious starters!
Many people choose to dine with a group & share the likes of mini burgers, lobster nachos & seared tuna bites. However, many others decide that both steaks & fajitas are certainly worth holding out for, so don´t forget to leave space for your mains!
The menu offers an excellent choice from traditional starters, main courses and desserts to our famous smoked meats, sharing boards and party style platters.
The menu is an interesting mix of French/Anglo/Mediteranian fusion with a few classics in there to keep everyone happy. It is great for sharing with an excellent selection of meze and tapas platters – even the entrée and main dishes are fun to share – though once you try the food you may want to keep it to yourself!

At lunch times you'll find a modern European / English menu, lots of fresh fish and meat dishes, homemade pies and puddings...in the evening our beautiful first floor dining room offers a similar fare, while the ground floor becomes a lively bar with an extensive small plates menu.
Weekends at The Green comprise of our hearty brunches on a Saturday and our now ‘legendary’ Sunday Roasts

A weekly changing menu. Cooked daily to ensure all produce is fresh. Sourced from the UK where possible, the menu tends to be seasonal. Specialising in Beef and seafood. Beef is from Aberdeen Angus stock and hung for a minimum of 28 days.
During the Summer months we will have BBQ's in our garden, with every thing from Burgers to whole lobster. We also have Picnic Hampers to enjoy on the grass. Our kitchen can cater for large or small parties, buffet or al-a-carte. You'll find something for everyone here!
