The Phoenix was London's first non smoking pub, it was relaunched as The Phoenix back in December 2003 well in advance of the 2007 Smoking Ban for England and Wales and was so called to signify 'the Phoenix rising from the ashes'.
Refurbished in 2009, it has a fabulous fresh new look adding both comfort and style, whilst retaining all the elements of a great local.
Formerly a bank, The Phoenix is located in the heart of the city, on the corner of Throgmorton street and Old Broad Street (opposite the Old Stock Exchange site) in a grade 2 listed building.
The Phoenix is a Traditional Pub for a Modern World, famous for award winning cask ales, great food and friendly service.
