The Golden Lion is a very attractive traditional style pub in an affluent part of London, not too far from the West End and a short walk to the royal parks and Buckingham Palace. We always have a warm welcome for all visitors to our pub and do our best to ensure that you have a very enjoyable visit. We pride ourselves on our beer offering and are cask marque accredited, we stock a varied selction of guest ales and some regulars including Hogsback T.E.A., Sharp's Doombar, also Adnams ales and Twickenham ales. We also have a varied wine list to suit most tastes and of course offer a premium spirit selection. We serve food until 3pm, we have an excellant team of chefs who make all the food to order from the freshest ingredients, the menu changes slightly fairly often to keep up with the seasons. We also offer freshly made sandwiches and lighter bar snacks such as scotch eggs and sticky sausages, all of which are made fresh on site. The venue itself has a very rich history and has been around for hundreds of years, keeping many of its original features. We have an upstairs floor which operates as a restaurant at lunchtimes during the week and at other times it is a wonderful room to sit and relax with a friend over a few drinks and it even has a small balcony for the smokers. It is also available in the evenings and weekends for use for private parties as it is serviced by its own bar. We have an outside on street drinking area where many locals can be found on a sunny afternoon enjoying a drink and watching the world go by.
