The Jugged Hare is a traditional English pub. Built in 1800s and originally a brunch of a National Westmenter Bank, The Jugged Hare opened in November 1996, taking pride in traditional home cooked food, real ales and outstanding wines from around the world all served up with the best service.
The name "Jugged Hare" is taken from a traditional British dish where the hare is hung, then slowly cooked in an earthenware pot. Why not try our Jugged Hare pie with celery, crougettes, carrots and mushrooms in a rich port & redcurrant gravy togheter with a pint of E.S.B.
