Located across the road from Liverpool Street Station and close to Spitalfields and Petticoat Lane Markets, The Barbican Centre and Brick Lane, this magnificent ivy covered building was established in 1736, and now stands as an oasis in the bustling City of London. An impressive high-ceilinged palace, it retains many of its original Victorian features. There is thought to have been an alehouse on the building's site in the first half of the 18th century. With two functions rooms that are free to hire catering for up to 150, some days can incurr a minimum spend on the bar. The Railway Tavern offers great pub food, all your favourites can be found here as well as more exciting sharing boards and buffets to suit any occasion. Is renkowned as the City's top sports bar with three sky boxes and all major sporting events shown and now HAS 3D/HD and on 31st January became hosts of the Worlds first Live 3D sports event. On Champions league nights, two major games are shown, one in the main bar and one in the function room. Area and table bookings welcome.
